Now it is official. The PHP Security Consortium web site is live. (Read the press release.) A month or so ago, Chris Schiflett (who is also writing a book called "PHP Security" at the moment) decided to improve the state of PHP security. So he invited a group of people interested in the subject. I was one of them.
In January we discussed the organisation of the Consortium, the mission statement, the projects, and we created the web site. There is only one project live at the moment but it is very important. It's the PHP Security Guide, and it's based on the previously published PHP Security Workbook (which Chris wrote).
